Verão Eterno (Endless Summer) is a project by André Trindade and Filipa Cordeiro that was created during a six-month stay in the city of Santa Cruz de Cabrália, a small Brazilian town near Porto Seguro, Bahia. The film tells a story inspired by European migration to Brazil in recent years, cross-referenced with the notion of a journey into paradise. It is about escapism, about life on the edge of capitalism. It is a lo-fi science fiction tale about life and the search for contentment between exile and utopia.
