“The heat was unbearable, everything seemed to be dead and all around could be heard the heavy rumble of warm air. The journey had been quite harrowing, as he had spend five hours inside in a train halting at each tiny village.
His aim was to arrive at the Lisbon Welcome Center. According to what he had been told, here he would find all that he desired: air conditioning to protect him from the heat, entertainment, food, drink, information, advice, cordiality (...)”
