Gabriel Abrantes
Too Many Daddies, Mommies and Babies
20.02-30.03.2009
Gabriel Abrantes produced three linked exhibitions throughout the city of Lisbon. Each exhibition space was used as a film production studio for ‘Too Many Daddies, Mommies and Babies’. In each space Gabriel Abrantes installed a movie set that served as the backdrop for the filming of ‘Too Many Daddies, Mommies and Babies’. The film can be viewed at each of the three separate locations, along with the original installation of the film set.
A film made in three parts and three specific locations: Galeria Zé dos Bois, Lumiar Cité in Alta de Lisboa and Museu da Electricidade. Opens friday March 27th at Museu da Electricidade, Lisbon, part of the exhibition EDP Novos Artistas, till 10th May 2009.
