Combining artistic practice and theoretical production, the Maumaus Residency Programme invites artists, curators, critics or researchers related to the field of art for residencies in Lisbon, with the support of local and international institutions. Artists are invited to develop projects to be presented at Lumiar Cité’s exhibition space, taking into account its specific architectural conditions and the surrounding area of Alta de Lisboa. Major support to the Programme is provided by the Portuguese Ministry of Culture / Directorate General for the Arts, the City Council of Lisbon, and the District Council of Lumiar. The participation in the Programme is by invitation only.
